Meeting called to order by President Stan Nihart at the Lodge with the following members present:
Matt Arnold, Kevin Beck, Jennifer Bosiacki, Chris Chappa, John Doseck, Matt Franzdorf, Steve Grimes, Gale Horn, Matt Krill, Nick Lanzer, Gary Mohre, Randy Mohre, Bill Noethen, Jim Snivley, Tom Szymczak, Jeremy Viers, Jim Walker and Michelle Zimmann.
Excused members were Matt Fedderke, Bill Hodapp, Jeff Ridgway, Steve Suchocki and Leo York.

Motion by J. Bosiacki, 2nd by M. Krill to accept the minutes of the last meeting as posted.  Motion passed after voice vote.

Treasurer’s report:  (refer to hard copy of minutes)
Motion by J. Snivley, 2nd by J. Bosiacki to accept the treasurer’s report.  Motion passed after voice vote.

New member Chris Chappa introduced himself.

‘Cops with Kids’ will be held December 13, 2008 at K-Mart and Wal*Mart in Bryan with the pizza party and Santa afterwards at Wesley UM Church.  Notifications will be sent advising each department which store to report to by 8:00 AM.

G. Horn recommended the Lodge adopt a family for Christmas.  He suggested we put the name of each school district in a hat to choose a jurisdiction then contact the schools for a family recommendation. The jurisdiction chosen would not be used in following years until every jurisdiction is chosen.  Motion by J. Snivley, 2nd by J. Bosiacki to allow up to $100 per family member and a total of $1,000 per family for food, toys, clothes and utility bills.  Motion passed after voice vote.  G. Horn, M. Franzdorf and B. Noethen volunteered to serve on the committee to handle this.  Bryan School District was chosen from a hat.

S. Nihart reported that C. Rose had been dropped from membership due to non-attendance and failure to pay dues.  As Colin was instrumental in the building of the Lodge, he recommended we move him to Life Membership.  Motion by G. Horn, 2nd by M. Arnold to move Colin to Life Membership.  Motion passed after voice vote.

B. Noethen requested the Lodge purchase watches for outgoing officers S. Nihart, President and J. Walker, Secretary for their years of service as officers.  Motion by G. Horn, 2nd by M. Krill to purchase watches with cost not to exceed $500 per watch.  Motion passed after voice vote.  Both Nihart and Walker expressed their thanks for the support they had received over the years.

T. Szymaczak requested the purchase of a lamp for over the pool table explaining that when the Wii is being played and the fluorescent lights are turned off and only the ceiling fan lights are on, it’s hard to see to play pool.  Motion by T. Szymaczak, 2nd by J. Doseck authorizing Scymaczak up to $500 to purchase a light.  Motion passed after voice vote.

G. Mohre and his wife volunteered to clean the Lodge carpet.

There being no further business, motion by G. Horn, 2nd by J. Bosiacki to adjourn.  Motion passed after voice vote.
