Meeting called to order by President Stan Nihart at the Lodge with the following members present:
Jeff Arnold, Matt Arnold, Greg Brillhart, Kevin Hager, Matt Krill, Carl Long, Jeff Ridgway, Colin Rose, Jason Shaffer, Jim Snivley, Jim Walker and Rachelle Walsh.  Excused members were Jim Brace, John Doseck, Dan Griffin, Jeff Priester and Paul Zawodny.

Election of officers for 2002:

President:
C. Rose nominated Kevin Hager
J. Arnold nominated Stan Nihart
No further nominations, Hager elected after secret ballot.

Vice-President:
K. Hager nominated Stan Nihart
S. Nihart nominated Jim Snivley - declined
S. Nihart nominated Matt Arnold - declined
No further nominations, Nihart elected by default.

Treasurer:
Colin Rose by default.

Secretary:
Jim Walker by default.

Sergeant at Arms:
S. Nihart nominated Jim Snivley
J. Walker nominated Jason Shaffer
No further nominations, Shaffer elected after secret ballot.

Chaplin:
J. Walker nominated Greg Brillhart
C. Long nominated Matt Krill
No further nominations, Krill elected after secret ballot.

3 year Trustee:
J. Arnold nominated Jim Snivley
No further nominations, Snivley elected by default.

(2 yr Trustee: Jeff Ridgway, 1 yr Trustee: Matt Arnold)

Chris Chapa, Bryan PD was voted on and accepted as a new member.

After reading of the minutes of the last meeting, motion by J. Snivley, 2nd by J. Arnold to accept.  Motion passed after voice vote.

Treasurer's report:  (refer to hard copy of minutes)

J. Arnold report there is approximately $23,000 in the show account presently in the 3rd week of solicitation.  Reminder the Cops with Kids program will be December 15, 2001 starting at 9:00 AM. The chief's of each department will be getting faxes assigning officers to Wal*Mart and K-Mart.  The pizza party will be held afterwards at Wesley United Methodist church beginning at 11:00 AM.  We will be sponsoring approximately 60 kids this year.

S. Nihart reported that EdgeFab had donated the labor to lower the roll bar on the Kobota 4".

S. Nihart reported the Criminal Justice October Fest went well.

J. Shaffer requested the lodge sponsor him for the Polar Bear fund that he will be attending in Ashtabula and swimming in Lake Erie.  Motion by J. Arnold, 2nd by K. Hager to donate $200.00. Motion passed after voice vote.

J. Arnold reported the air compressor is repaired and it will be returned to the lodge soon.

Motion by C. Rose, 2nd by J. Walker to move Bill Noethen to Life Membership status with the lodge as he is retired from Montpelier PD.  Motion passed after voice vote.

There being no further business, motion by S. Nihart, 2nd by K. Hager to adjourn.  Motion passed after voice vote.
