Tuesday, October 23, 2001

Meeting called to order by President Stan Nihart at the Lodge with the following members present:
Kevin Beck, Stan Bryner, Kevin Hager, Matt Krill, Carl Long, Bill Noethen, Jeff Ridgway, Jim Snivley, Jim Walker and Paul Zawodny.  Excused members were Jim Brace, Dan Griffin, Cory Nichols, Jeff Priester, Colin Rose, Jason Shaffer and Sam Yoh.

After reading of the minutes of the last meeting, motion by K. Hager, 2nd by B. Noethen to accept. Motion passed after voice vote.

Rachelle Walsh, Edgerton PD, was accepted as a re-instated member.

It was reported that we were able to purchase an electric heater for the garage for $84.04.

After some discussion on the upcoming Criminal Justice October Fest to be held November 10, 2001, motion by B. Noethen, 2nd by S. Bryner to donate $250 towards expenses.  Motion passed after voice vote.

After some discussion an the purchase of a new air compressor or the repair of the old one, action was tabled until S. Nihart can speak personally with the member that currently has the old compressor.

The executive board will meet after the next meeting to determine what members will be dropped due to non-attendance of meetings or non-payment of dues.

Election of officers for 2002 will be held at the November meeting.

The lodge presented Marlin Pettit with an FOP sweatshirt in appreciation for his work in wiring the new garage.

There being no further business, motion by S. Nihart, 2nd by K. Hager to adjourn.  Motion passed after voice vote.

All members present then stayed for a work detail on the new garage.
