Meeting called to order by President Stan Nihart at the Lodge with the following members present:
Jeff Arnold, Matt Arnold, Greg Brillhart, Rachelle Delno, Dan Griffin, Matt Krill, Carl Long, Bill Noethen, Brian Ross, Jason Shaffer, Deb Shindledecker, Steve Suchocki and Jim Walker.  Excused members were Tracy Harding, Mose Mohre, Colin Rose and Leo York.

Motion by J. Shaffer, 2nd by B. Noethen to accept the minutes of the last meeting as posted.  Motion passed after voice vote.

Treasurer’s report:  (refer to hard copy of minutes)

J. Arnold reported the Cops with Kids program will be held Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Wal*Mart and K-Mart in Bryan.

Election of officers for 2005:

President:
J. Arnold nominated S. Nihart
No further nominations, Nihart elected by default.

Vice-President:
J. Arnold nominated D. Griffin who declined the nomination.
D. Griffin nominated J. Shaffer.
No further nominations, Shaffer elected by default.

No further nominations, Walker elected by default.

Treasurer:
J. Shaffer nominated C. Rose
No further nominations, Rose elected by default.

Sergeant at Arms:

B. Ross reported he was unable to find an insurance carrier willing to insure the lodge and property. We will stay with our current carrier.

M. Krill questioned the possibility of obtaining an FOP flag holder for the grave of Edgerton PD K-9 Shadow’s grave.  Shadow died unexpectedly Friday, October 15, 2004.  S. Nihart advised he will get one ordered.  S. Nihart reported he had checked into the possibility of a K-9 cemetery on the FOP grounds but determined there may be legal regulations we would not be able to meet.

J. Arnold asked if Louie Herman had been paid for the straw used during the Octoberfest hayride.  J. Walker is to handle.

S. Nihart requested the building committee (C. Rose, K. Beck & J. Walker) come up with a list of repair needs of the FOP property including a new roof for the Lodge.  B. Ross suggested the possibility of a metal roof for the lodge.

There being no further business, motion by B. Ross, 2nd by J. Shaffer to adjourn.  Motion passed after voice vote.
