Meeting was called to order by Gary Mohre who also led The Pledge of Allegiance.
Members present were Randy Buehrer, Justin Coffman, Matt Krill, Nick Lanzer, Jason Raymond, Andrew Skiles, Terry Bartel, Gary Mohre, Tom Szymczak, and Jeremy Viers.
Motion by Randy Buehrer to accept May's Secretary Report posted on the website, Jason Raymond 2nd with Motion passing after voice vote.
Treasurers Report given by Justin Coffman with Motion to accept by Tom Szymczak, 2nd by Terry Bartel with Motion passing with voice vote.
OLD BUSINESS:
Members were advised that the Lodge participated in the Bill Noethan Golf Scholarship event. Motion by Jason Raymond, 2nd by Matt Krill to reimburse Andy
Skiles $240.00.
Bike to the Bridge also took place during the summer in which Nick Lanzer participated. Motion by Matt Krill with 2nd by Randy Buehrer to give $200.00 to the
Cancer Awareness with Motion passing after voice vote.
NEW BUSINESS:
Special Olympics will have their HERO Softball game for law enforcement and EMS to attend and play if interested. September 4 at 6:00 pm at the softball fields
at Moore Park in Bryan. There will be food to help raise money for the Special Olympics. Motion by Andy Skiles to give $500.00 with 2nd by Tom
Szymczak. Motion passed after voice vote.
Relay for Life sponsored by the American Cancer Society will be held at the Williams County Courthouse this year due to a conflict at the fairgrounds. September
19 from 5-11 pm in which there will be walking around the sidewalks to celebrate and remember family and friends that have or are going through cancer. There
will be vendors around the square and games and reverse raffle available to help raise money for cancer research. Motion by Gary Mohre to give $400.00 with 2nd
by Jason Raymond. Motion passed after voice vote.
Special Olympics are also having an event called the 2025 Solar Plunge at Wesley United Methodist September 21 from 3-5 pm. Jeremy Viers mentioned he will be
volunteering to be dunked so several people gave money to him to be given to the Special Olympics.
VFW Post 2489 will be hosting the Veteran's Ball at the Williams County Veterans Memorial on November 8 this year. Motion by Matt Krill for the Lodge to
purchase 8 dinner tickets for $400.00. 2nd by Andy Skiles with Motion passing after voice vote. Seats to be reserved first for Members that are Veterans.
Justin Coffman brought up that the Northwest Ohio SART clinic gives away essentials to persons going through exams. Motion by Tom Szymczak to give them
$1,000.00 with 2nd by Jason Raymond. Motion passed after voice vote.
