Meeting called to order by Vice-President Jason Shaffer at Lodge with the following members present:
Jeff Arnold, Kevin Beck, John Doseck, Bill Noethen, Colin Rose and Jim Walker.  Excused member was Jim Snivley.

Motion by J. Arnold, 2nd by B. Noethen to accept the minutes of the last meeting as posted.  Motion passed after voice vote.

Treasurer’s report:
No treasurer’s report.  J. Arnold reported the Show Account has $5,995.

J. Shaffer read a thank you note from Erin Walker for her scholarship award.

B. Noethen and J. Walker are registered for the upcoming State FOP Conference to be held in Dayton, OH July 22nd thru the 25th.

K. Beck thanked the FOP for the donation to the STOPPED program being instituted by the Sheriff’s office.

J. Shaffer asked about making a donation for the Bryan Firing Range for cement from the targets to the 21’ line.  J. Arnold will contact Larry Altman about this and any possible safety issues and report back at the next meeting.

B. Noethen reported he received an estimate from Gutterman to complete the evespouting on the lodge for $125.  Motion by B. Noethen, 2nd by J. Arnold to accept the bid and to have him also install evespouting and downspouts on the garage.  Motion passed after voice vote.

After some discussion, the date for the 2006 Criminal Justice Octoberfest was set for Saturday, October 14 at 6:00 PM.  Steak, chicken and beverages will be provided and RSVP’s will be required.  J. Arnold volunteered to get a bank BBQ grill reserved.

Motion by B. Noethen, 2nd by J. Doseck to purchase a carpet scrubber not to exceed $200.  Motion passed after voice vote.

J. Walker reported the flagpole was damaged during the last storm and needs replaced.  He stated he will pick one up at Menards the next time he goes to Ft. Wayne if approved.  This was approved without motion.  He was then asked to also purchase the carpet scrubber while there.

It was reported that member J. Edwards has verbally resigned his membership due to the purchase of the brass pole.  After a short discussion, it was decided the brass pole will stay.

There being no further business, motion by C. Rose, 2nd by J. Walker to adjourn.  Motion passed after voice vote.
