Meeting called to order by Secretary Jim Walker at the Lodge with the following members present:
Jeff Arnold, Kevin Beck, Dan Griffin (late), Colin Rose, Brian Ross and Jason Shaffer.  Excused members were Mose Mohre and Stan Nihart.

Motion by J. Shaffer, 2nd by K. Beck to accept the minutes of the last meeting as posted.  Motion passed after voice vote.

J. Walker reported an executive meeting was held June 3, 2004 at Bryan PD concerning investment of the CD money.  In attendance were D. Griffin, M. Mohre, S. Nihart, C. Rose, J. Snivley and J. Walker. After discussion, it was decided to invest $40,000 in eight (8) individual $5,000 CDs at Farmer's & Merchants Bank which will each yield 5% interest over 5 years.

D. Griffin arrived and began conducting the meeting advising Lietchy Farm Equipment has not yet delivered the lawn spreader.  He also advised we had received a thank you card from The Wholesale House in Hicksville for the use of our popcorn popper on June 12, 2004.  He also reported that he has been advised by LaVon Armstrong that there is nothing wrong with the septic tank.  Apparently the lids have just settled and need to be reset.

J. Arnold asked that a date be set early for the Criminal Justice October Fest.  It was decided to set the date of Saturday, October 16, 2004.

J. Arnold made a motion to move Deb Shindledecker to Life Member status as she has retired from Bryan Police Dept.  2nd by J. Shaffer.  Motion passed after voice vote.

There being no further business, motion by C. Rose, 2nd by J. Shaffer to adjourn.  Motion passed after voice vote.
