Meeting called to order by Vice-President Dan Griffin at the Lodge with the following members present: Opening prayer was offered by Chaplin M. Krill. After the reading of the minutes of the last meeting, motion by G. Brillhart, 2nd by J. Arnold to accept. Motion passed after voice vote. Treasurer’s report: (refer to hard copy of minutes) New members: D. Griffin reported that he had checked with Studer Repair, Edgerton, who quoted a price of $200 plus parts to convert the old water tank to a lawn roller. After discussion, it was tabled to allow checking of prices for new or used rollers that may be cheaper. L. Altman volunteered to look into repairing the drainage tile by heading up the work detail. After some discussion, a work detail date was set for Sunday, June 22, 2003 at 1:00 PM. The secretary is to notify all members of this by e-mail. J. Arnold reported that he had found a French door priced without a screen for $280. Price with screen is $500 to $600. No prices have been received yet from Thermo-Tru but should be here by the next meeting. Further action was tabled until the next meeting. J. Arnold reported that the telemarketing no-call list law has not been passed yet but is does look like non-profit organizations will be exempt from this, which includes our lodge. D. Griffin expressed his gratitude on behalf of President S. Nihart to all the members that participated in the lodge memorial service held on May 18, 2003. D. Griffin presented a price quote from Current Repairs for bar stools for the game room. After some discussion, the general concession was that we can probably purchase them someplace else cheaper. D. Griffin read an e-mail from Tom Francis expressing his pleasure that the lodge has now placed a memorial marker on the courthouse square. Griffin also read a thank you letter from Leadership Williams County for our donation and a thank you card from the Stryker Parent School Partnership for our donation. C. Rose questioned if we want to hold any parties this year. Further discussion was tabled until the next meeting. C. Rose asked if the lodge would be interested in sponsoring a demonstration to be presented by the Lima Bomb Squad and ATF. Further discussion was tabled until the next meeting.
