Meeting called to order by President Jeremy Viers.  The following members were in attendance:  Steve Schlosser, Matthew Krill, Steve Suchocki, Gary Mohre, John Doseck, Ed Biederstedt, Dan Cline, James Walker, Nick Lanzer, Gale Horn and new member Steven Doctor.

Motion by J. Walker and 2nd by S. Schlosser to accept the minutes as posted.  Motion passed after voice vote.

Motion by M. Krill and 2nd by S. Suchocki to accept the Treasures report as submitted by Treasure S. Nihart and read by President J. Viers.  Motion passed after voice vote.

Motion by M. Krill and 2nd by S. Schlosser to approve the membership application recommended by J. Viers for applicant Steven Doctor, Patrolman at the Bryan Police Department.  Motion passed after voice vote.

OLD BUSINESS:
President J. Viers advised that a plant was delivered Holly Doseck, wife of member John Doseck, on the behalf of the Lodge to show support for Holly as she faces illness.
President J. Viers advised that flowers were sent to the funeral of Bailey Jones, son of past Edgerton Police Chief and past FOP member Jeremy Jones.

NEW BUSINESS:
President J. Viers asked Officers to show support for the National Police Memorial Day, May 15th.  A permit has been obtained from the County Commissioners for use of lawn and the Bryan VFW #2489 is donating the use of a bugle for military taps.  T. Livengood volunteered to organize service and suggested the lodge purchase the National Police Memorial Day flag with post.  Motion by S. Suchocki and 2nd by S. Schlosser for the FOP Lodge to sponsor a memorial service at our Monument on the Square in Bryan on May 15th and for the Lodge to purchase a National Police Memorial Day flag, pole, and stand.  Motion passed after voice vote.
Motion by M. Krill and 2nd by S. Schlosser to donate $250.00 to the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit the Ohio Special Olympics.  Motion passed after voice vote.
The FOP Scholarship Committee consisting of Matthew Krill, Steve Schlosser, and Dan Cline reviewed the (8) eight applications for the FOP Scholarship.  On behalf of the committee M. Krill made a motion, 2nd by J. Walker to award the following students $1,200.00:  Alexandria V. Biederstedt – Ball State University; Fernando M. Chavez – The Ohio State University; Allison L. Frisbie – Indiana Institute of Technology; Austin C. Frisbie – Indiana Institute of Technology; Stanley J. Nihart – Purdue University; McKenna L. Towns – Hillsdale College; Asher G. Viers – Marion Technical College; Avery M. Viers – University of Toledo.  Motion passed after voice vote.
