Meeting called to order by President Stan Nihart at the Lodge with the following members present: S. Nihart introduced FOP 6th District Trustee Mike Watkins who spoke about his position and what it means to our lodge. He advised all members to e-mail Aaron Crawford at acrawford@fopohio.org to get on the State FOP e-mailing list. Motion by R. Delno, 2nd by J. Bosiacki to accept the minutes of the last meeting as posted. Motion passed after voice vote. Treasurer’s report: (refer to hard copy of minutes) J. Arnold reported the new collage scholarship applications are completed. They should be completed and turned in by April 30 and will be awarded at the May meeting. G. Horn reported the new pool table and dartboard are to be delivered Friday, March 28. The new pop cooler is here that is donated by Pepsi and Edgerton Main Stop. S. Nihart read the new rules for the lodge as compiled by the building committee. The Trustees are to incorporate these rules into the By-laws. S. Nihart directed the Secretary to send letters to 2 year Trustee J. Priester and Building Committee member C. Rose requesting their intentions as officers as they have not met the membership attendance requirement to remain as officers. J. Viers reported games night is set for Saturday, April 5. Games include the Wii, Pool, Texas Hold ‘em, Poker, Darts, etc. We will have BBQ Chicken and passing dishes. The word detail for April 5 is cancelled and rescheduled for May 3, 2008. K. Beck reported there will be at least 40 people attending the Honors Banquet. Reminder it has been moved to the Bryan Eagles and the Secretary was directed to notify the honorees of the move. The meal will be buffet style. ‘Master Jammer’ Gary Nungester will be there as the DJ. G. Horn is to bring the liquor from the Lodge. There will be a 50-50 raffle, double tickets and door prizes. Motion by J. Arnold, 2nd by J. Viers to allow $300 for S. Nihart to purchase door prizes. Motion passed after voice vote. J. Bosiacki explained the ‘Locks of Love’ program she is sponsoring April 19, 2008 and requested a donation. She explained that she is donating her hair at the event also. Motion by G. Horn, 2nd by J. Arnold to donate $500. Motion passed after voice vote. J. Arnold reported that Williams County Crime Stoppers is in need of money. Motion by J. Arnold, 2nd by M. Krill to donate $500. Motion passed after voice vote. J. Viers explained the Volunteer Connection of NW Ohio that he will participate in on May 17, 2008. Motion by G. Horn, 2nd by M. Krill to donate $250 to this event.
