Treasurer's report:  (refer to hard copy of minutes)

J. Arnold reported we may have problems next year with our solicitations due to the new State mandated 'no call list'.  If this new law goes into effect, we may have to do more mailings which will be more expensive and generate less profit for us.

S. Nihart read a letter of resignation as an active Lodge member submitted by S. Pollick.  Motion by K. Beck, 2nd by C. Rose to accept his resignation effective this date.  Motion passed after voice vote.

K. Hager reported nothing new concerning the Officer's Memorial.

S. Nihart reported J. Walker and J. Shaffer had removed the old water pressure tank.  A new smaller tank has been installed.  After some discussion, it was decided to cut the old tank in half for use as a BBQ grill.

S. Nihart reported he will be getting price quotes to repair the field tile in three (3) locations over the hill, repair the septic tank system and have stone placed in the drive at the bottom of the hill.

S. Nihart lead discussion on replacing the overhead door in the lodge with either a French type door or a window.  J. Arnold is to get price quotes on a French door and report back at the next meeting.

C. Rose reported that Sauder's Woodworking of Archbold donated a wooden 2-drawer filing cabinet to the Lodge.  The secretary is to send them a thank you letter.

K. Hager requested a donation be made to Psi Iota Xi Sorority.  Motion by J. Arnold, 2nd by M. Krill to donate $150.00.  Motion passed after voice vote.

J. Arnold reported on a fund raiser being held for J. Richard's wife to help defray medical expenses. Due to lack of complete information, a decision on the amount to donate was tabled until next meeting. However, motion by J. Arnold, 2nd by J. Snivley to donate a maximum of $300 if the event is held before the next meeting.  Motion passed after voice vote.

C. Rose advised that the upcoming Ohio Identification Seminar (OIO) is being sponsored by Bryan PD. He inquired if the Lodge would like to donate some items to be used as door prizes.  Motion by K. Hager, 2nd by B. Hodapp to donate various FOP items that we have in stock.  Motion passed after voice vote.

K. Beck reported he is enrolled in the Leadership Williams County class.  Their project is to develop a self-guiding nature tour at Camp Palmer that will benefit 11 counties.  He requested a donation to help defray the costs of the nature signs, etc.  Motion by C. Rose, 2nd by J. Arnold to donate $500.  Motion passed after voice vote and Beck was given a ceramic FOP disc to be placed on one of the signs.

S. Nihart read a letter written by J. Ridgway in 1991 while he was serving as Lodge Secretary thanking Sauder Woodworking for their donation of a wooden filing cabinet at that time.  As the Lodge does not have that cabinet, the President directed the Secretaty to write a letter to Ridgway requesting the cabinet be turned over to the Lodge or be replaced by him if he no longer possess it.

There being no further business, motion by J. Arnold, 2nd by K. Hager to adjourn.  Motion passed after voice vote.
