Meeting called to order by President Jeremy Viers at the Lodge with the following members present:  Matthew Krill, John Doseck, Scott Boyd, Steve Suchocki, Ed Biederstedt, Steve Towns, Mathew Franzdorf, Gary Mohre, Gale Horn, Jeremy Viers, James Foltz, and Steve Schlosser.

Motion by S. Schlosser, 2nd by S. Towns to accept the previous minutes as posted.  Motion passed after voice vote.

Motion by M. Krill, 2nd by S. Boyd to accept the treasure’s report as given.  Motion passed after voice vote.

OLD BUSINESS:
J. Viers gave an update on Randy Bockover’s progress concerning his medical treatment.  Motion by J. Viers, 2nd by S. Suchocki to donate $300.00 to Bryan Reserve Officer and former FOP member Randy Bockover to assist with expences occurring due to his current medical issues.  Motion passed after voice vote.

NEW BUSINESS:
Motion by J. Viers, 2nd by S. Schlosser to donate $50.00 to the Theta Kappa Sorority for their annual Easter Egg Hunt in Edon.  Motion passed after voice vote.
J. Viers presented investment information and suggestions on how to invest the money that the Lodge had previously invested in CD and the recommendations J. Viers received after meeting with Mitchel Owens, former manager of funds for the Bryan Area Foundation.  Motion by J. Viers, 2nd by S. Boyd to invest (refer to hard copy for dollar amount) through Vangard in a 70/30 split between stocks/bonds with the stock being the S&P 500 Index and having the current year to year Lodge Treasure and Lodge President as the fund contact persons for the Lodge.  Motion passed after voice vote.

Discussion:
Received a thank-you letter from S. Fransdorf for the gift for volunteering with the Cops with Kids program.
Received an update from Benjamin Murray and his new eSight eyeware the Lodge had helped sponsor for him.  Benjamin would like to attend the next meeting to show his thanks.
