Meeting called to order by President Stan Nihart at the Lodge with the following members present: Motion by J. Arnold, 2nd by K. Beck to accept the minutes of the last meeting as posted. Motion passed after voice vote. No treasurer’s report as the treasurer was not present. J. Arnold reported on the show account. New members: S. Nihart reported he had received thank you notes from Todd Shock’s family and ‘Neighbors in Need’. He also reported we had a good turnout for the members dinner at Sam’s and that there was a mix up last month when Mose Mohre arrived at the lodge for a meeting with food for everyone but there wasn’t a meeting. Sorry Mose! J. Shaffer reported the FOP Polar Bear Plunge will be held February 26, 2005. S. Nihart reported on G. Brillhart’s request to form a permanent honor guard with practices to be held approximately twice a year. Everybody felt this would be a good idea. The secretary was requested to send a formal membership invitation to Wildlife Officer Tom Kochert. After much discussion, motion by J. Snivley, 2nd by D. Shindledecker to authorize the expenditure of funds to replace the garage door in the game room with a French door, replace the south side door with either a door or a window, tile the game room, purchase paint and complete framing of the windows and doors. Motion passed after voice vote. Motion by K. Beck, 2nd by M. Krill to have food at every meeting. Motion passed after voice vote. S. Suchocki requested the possibility of purchasing a computer desk for use by the secretary and treasurer. J. Walker stated he didn’t need it as he uses the table and it works out fine.
